In addition, they live-streamed the show on live.burberry.com, as well as some 70 other sites, including Sky News, CNN and The Times.

Stephen J. Shanabrook for Comme des Garcons SHIRT

comme

Comme des Garcons SHIRT are famed for their quiky ad campaigns, and this season is no exception. They have collaborated with artist Stephen J. Shanabrook, using images from his series ‘Paper Surgeries’. Playing on magazines, fashion and photography, the images (made in collaboration with Veronika Georgieva) blur the lines between beauty and ugliness. His artworks are also due to appear on the actual shirts from the collection.

A.P.C Dover Street

apc

Another new addition to the fashionable throes of London’s Dover Street, A.P.C has at last returned to English shores with a flagship store at 35a. The space, although small, is suitably simple but well-designed, just like the clothing aesthetic for which it is known and loved. Francophile clothing fans won’t be disappointed, especially with Breton stripes being at the forefront again this season.

In only a few seasons, Common Projects have established themselves to be the leading trainer brand in understated luxury. Their minimal back to basics approach, but use of premium materials and construction techniques, have seen them become monotone classics. b Clothing

b-store

The b Clothing range was conceived and designed by b Store owners, Matthew Murphy and Kirk Beattie, who are fast on their way to building one of London’s most sought-after menswear labels. Their second offering for a/w 09, shown at London Fashion Week, had a distinctly Parisian vibe, with polka dots and stripes being the patterns of choice. Some of the nicer touches included a plain shirt with polka dot collars and cuffs, a wide roll neck jumper and an abundance of cropped trousers.
